Here are two more intriguing people. Based on some of the principles listed under handwriting analysis categories what do you make of each of these people?
It is interesting to see the signature after observing a person, especially on the movie screen. Ms Hepburn played a variety of characters but it seemed to me that her personality, strong as it was, seemed to dominate whatever role she was given or chose. You have some clues here of strong will. Can you identify the possible indicators? How about the way she communicated?
James Dean was an enigmatic person and his signature suggests that. How much did he share about himself, based on just this much. Would you say that his writing here indicates a social person—extrovert? or more of an introvert?
I will be back later to add some comments but meanwhile, do a little research, make a few notes and see what you come up with.
Katharine Hepburn's signature indicates her strong-willed, no-nonsense character. Note her t bar of extreme length, showing her self-directed personality and the tenacity (the hook at the end) of her high goals( shown in the height of her t bars.) Her bar also takes on an optimistic upslant. She knew where she wanted to go and was confident and upbeat about heading there.
Her directness was legendary (note the lack of any approach strokes in her words.) She said exactly what she thought without a lot of concern for how she came across. I am quite sure she could intimidate many, in fact to win her respect, you had better be prepared and speak your mind quickly and with as much brevity as possible. She did not suffer fools gladly. She had no doubts about herself and who she was. Good self-esteem.
She had a quick mind and could cut through to the essentials very quickly. Note her interesting and efficient connection of crossbar stroke on her h to link to the following letter e. She made a "Greek" e, not an ordinary one, showing an appreciation of culture.
James Dean is hard to figure out. He doesn't reveal a lot about himself in this legible but at the same time slurred attempt to write his name. He seems self-contained and very private. I would want to see the rest of his writing to say more about him. Maybe being such a mystery has been the secret of his posthumous success.
